City Overview
Yixing is one of the welthest chinese city located in the southwest of Jiangsu Province, at the center of the Shanghai - Nanjing - Hangzhou triangle. The Taihu Lake water surface in the east is connected to that of Suzhou. The overall terrain pattern is high in the south and low in the north, with low mountains and hills in the southwest, the Taihu Lake area in the east, and a plain area in the north. It has a subtropical monsoon humid climate, with a total area of 1996.6 square kilometers. As of the end of 2024, the permanent population of Yixing City was 1.281 million, GDP of 245.502 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1% over the previous year.

Many main mountain climbing routes are located in with bamboo forrest, renovated or wild leads to the top of the mountains.
